Surely not being introverted?

I'm having a very rare moment right now. Not that it's rare to have a moment, but the type of moment I am in is exceedingly bizarre for me. There are people in my house, who I like, who like me and have invited me to join them, and I've decided to sit on my own downstairs. And it's not because I'm tired, or upset or annoyed with anyone, or working or anything else that might be a good reason to reject human contact. I have in the past wondered if I'd ever spend time on my own if it wasn't necessary. Tonight however, 1 housemate and 3 friends are upstairs watching The Seventh Seal, which is a 'heavy' film, by all accounts, set in medieval sweden, and I don't feel that I have the brain capacity to engage with it. Instead, I have chosen to watch Season 6 Dawson's Creek, which demands much less of me. It's not the best season, to be honest once they left Capeside it all got a bit crap, but I like the characters - in a way they seem like old friends, so it's nice to be kept up to date on what they're doing.

So that's what I'll do - curl up on the armchair with me pretty little iBook, and a couple of episodes of Dawson's Creek. Quite comforting really.
